i played video games since i was 5 , i'm 19 now , played a shit amount of games , finished my first souls game at 9 years old ,( ds1) , finished every souls game that came to pc besides sekiro , i find this game hard , very hard but fun , i wanna enjoy this game more , i wanna progress , but it always feels tough , i have a somehow decent reflex after all the online gaming i did but no matter what i do i always get smacked , so i found myself downloading and deleting this game over and over again , but this time i'll try harder , but the question remains , do u think an average gamer will be able to finish this game after getting used to the mechanics or it's just for "veteran gamers" , also i stopped playing after i beat genichiro , i think i got lost or something like that

I'm currently playing my first playthrough on this and I'm loving it, currently at Genichiro, however, something I've noticed about myself on this game is if I attempt a boss and do so shitty, so sloppy that I don't even allow myself to use resurrection just sheer out of disappointment. Is this reasonable?

I didn't play very active on sekiro. Even tho I love this game. So my problem was that I am more or less stuck on this boss. I know I can just ignore him and go further, which I did but I don't want to not kill him. If I could defeat him I could make an upgrade but I don't even know how to deal him damage while he shoots all these balls at me. Can somebody please explain to me what I can do to kill him and what things could make it easier? Thanks a lot

I have only defeated Glock Saint Isshin and Demon of Hatred.Demon of Hatred I enjoyed and was actually a fun fight for me, while Isshin definitely took more tries, having to master hella movesets of his. I’m thinking about doing Purification ending to fight Hirata Owl next, then finally doing the Shura to defeat Isshin Ashina + Emma.

So, you see on youtube or here all those perfect parry (deflection) no charm bell videos and you think to yourself "maaan i can never do it, i might as well give up"Well, you dont have to be perfect with deflection or mikiri counter, you dont have to be up the boss's face all the time, you can be more cautious and still beat the game.This game is challanging but its not terribly difficult, you can olay the game from start to end without being perfect on those things and still enjoy and beat it.My no1 advise would be: observation, when you get into a fight, dont come in to win on your 1st try, observe the moves, observe the rhythm, the combat system in this game has a lot of depth so you can choose the best strategy that suits your style.Dont be afraid to try new styles of combat against different bosses.Dont be afraid to die.This game is a lit of fun if you find your own way through it instead of letting outside noise to affect you.Enjoy!

I love FromSoftware's games, Bloodborne is probably my favourite game thematically and aesthetically. But Sekiro is without a doubt the game I find the most enjoyable and fair.But why do I find it the fairest game? In my first playthrough I spent 42 hours to finish it. The game relies so much on your experience (and not on the character's), that enemies that previously had stuck me for 2-3 hours, I managed to pass them on the first try (Lady Butterfly, O'rin, Corrupted Monk, Genichiro...), making my NG+ last 6 hours.It seems to me a game with an exquisite design, with an understanding of gamplay on another level, it is an exercise in understanding the player like I have never seen. I love it.Now I'm going for my NG+2, I need the platinum!Thanks again FromSoftware.
