For me, it was this big boi. When I first played the game , I was struggling with him because I was hella aggresive and didn't parry but after I tried being patient and after 2 or 3 tries I beat him.

The way Isshin submits here just gives you that feeling of triumph. You won. You did it. The backdrop is gorgeous. Wolf’s follow through on the execution. All perfection.

I'm like a little over a year into being sober as a judge (please don't congratulate me). At the end of my use, one of my favorite bender activities would be to smoke meth and play sekiro for days at a time, just going through remembrance fights until I could do them hitless. I must have fought inner father like 300 times. I never was into playing charmless but I did get down with demon bell.Anyways after I quit I was obviously miserably depressed for like a 6 months and I was just incapable of enjoying sekiro. I tried playing more shortly after I quit but I think my brain was just too screwed up from the months and months of extreme sleep deprivation, plus dopamine mega blasting I put the poor thing through near the end. It was sorta sad but at that time I had bigger fish to fry.Anyways school is out for the summer and I was getting yoked for the elden ring dlc. After I beat mohg, on a whim I popped open sekiro and started a new save. Which I've tried to do a number of times, but just could never really get into it. This time though after I slogged through the opening and beat the horsey dude (lamest boss I have +600 hours in this game - I don't even remember his name), I said "fuck it can we do the bull?". The answer was yes we got the bull first go.Anyways fast forward like 4 or 5 days later, beat owl father first try, and then tonightISHHIN FIRST TRY BITCHESI still need to get demon of hatred which will not be a first try win (I loathe that fight it does not come as naturally to me as some of the others)But getting isshin on my first go after putting the game down for a year was such a good moment. It was like what they say about riding a bike or something. Crazy shit. This game slaps. Easily my favorite fromsoft game. No bells, no whistles, just some very *very good stealth missions and boss fights.

I've had the game since release night. Got 3 hour early access. I've been stuck on Genichiro since the weekend the game came out. I finally fucking beat him for the first time ever and I was giggling like an idiot. I know it's not the most impressive thing but I'm so happy and proud of myself for finally doing it. Now I'm going to go smash my head into the brick wall that is the rest of the game. I finally got gud

I’ve beaten all the games from Demons souls to Elden ring and this guy I think is harder than Orphan of Kos, Darkeater Midir, demon of hatred, Isshin, all of them.

I am sick and tired of posts on this subreddit saying it's the hardest boss, or it took them 800 tries blah blah blah.People need to realise they are just bad, he only took me 50 tries on my first playthrough, and only 70 on charmless. Compared to Blazing Bull or Shirafugi (300 attempts each) he is incredibly easy.So please stop with all the posts saying he's hard, it's just not funny anymore!!

Anyone else think when designing Isshin, Miyazaki was making a slight nod to Akira Kurosawa’s gun wielding antagonist from Yojimbo..? Or just me

Son, eat your uncooked rice and these cockroaches I scavenged outside, so you can be a strong growing shinobi. Talk about child abuse.

Sekiro was the first FromSoft game I ever played. I tried it during early Covid and was blown away by how hard it was.I kept at it and got all the way to Isshin Sword Saint but couldn’t beat him. Tried for weeks until I finally gave up.I recently picked the game back up and decided I was going to do it this time.On my 72nd try, I finally got the bastard. Now what do I do!?

As previously mentioned in the first attempt, I spoke to Demigrodrick, the instance admin of Lemmy.zip, about how their bot processes reddit posts and might have found a solution. They have put in a lot of work to get their instance bot to work on here as I originally envisioned it: not only linking to reddit posts but rather creating proper image posts including the post's body. Now, there seem to be some issues with how these posts are displayed on the numerous Lemmy apps, specifically on Jerboa where it's just linking to the original post.

I'd like to ask of you to be patient with me/us (the SoulsFetchBot) for the time being since this is just an early implementation that can be iterated upon should any of you find something missing or not working as you'd like the bot to.

Do feel free to reach out and report any issues - I want to get this working!

Edit: The issue seems to have been resolved. The update should roll out soon-ish

Edit 2: Videos cannot be pulled by the bot properly via RSS, so I will just delete video posts whenever I see them for the time being
