Seems like he's commenting that that is the gist of the original picture: "Look at my dumb wife who sent me to get the exact same color."

I think it's actually funny / great that everyone is ignoring the misogyny and taking the wife's side without comment, just assuming the guy is a little bit dim.

Which is great considering the original post was likely staged for misogynistic humor in the first place.

It definitely can be interpreted a number of ways- but it was funny regardless. It could easily be taken as "I'm painting over white with white..." and the wife was purely contextual for the story.

The discussions are just making it that much more amusing.

Or just being that angry all the time, with the stereotypical "us VS them" gender war mentality.

I mean really, let's interview 10,000 men and women, and see how they describe colors...I have no doubt we'll see a clear divide. Nothing wrong with that, just a difference in how brains function.
