Me watching as the ancients slowly strip away everything that makes us human:
As you slowly realize death is an illusion and you're the fool for ever believing you would be so lucky to enjoy its sweet release. Your fate is to spend eternity watching the world around you become more twisted and the people you loved morph into homunculus that feel only hate; and relish the suffering of others. As the planet burns up in a blanket of carbon spewed into the atmosphere by the demons who've tortured you your entire life. Hell, you've been in hell the entire time and part of the torment was knowing joy and feeling hope and believing others could wish it for you; as you did for others.
