!nostupidquestions is a community dedicated to being helpful and answering each others' questions on various topics.
The rules for posting and commenting, besides the rules defined here for lemmy.world, are as follows:

On fridays, you are allowed to post meme and troll questions, on the condition that it's in text format only, and conforms with our other rules. These posts MUST include the [NSQ Friday] tag in their title.
If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.
Rule 7- You can't intentionally annoy, mock, or harass other members.
If you intentionally annoy, mock, harass, or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.
Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

Because it's left-wing and Rogan mainly appeals to far right conspiracy cranks?
I'm as far left as it gets and I listen to Rogan sometimes. It's just a podcast for entertainment. He has a large platform and nobody controls him, people don't like that so people talk a lot of shit about him. Some if it's warranted, some if it's just shit from people that are repeating what they've heard about him and don't actually listen. Listening to it doesn't mean anything, it's just entertainment with a lot of different guests. Some you might find interesting or funny, some boring, and some completely crazy. Guy can make money however he wants, people can listen to whatever they want.
So go and listen to Matt Walsh then too? It's the same sort of right wing conspiracy crap pushing.
Some people do things like this under the idea that you should keep your enemies close. Like you should always know your enemy and in order to do that, you have to be right there, listening to what the enemy is saying.
Rogan doesn't consider them enemies, he considers them friends.

I think it was Tony Hitchcliff who's a stand up who was on Rogans show fucking begging him to not have stupid ass Shapiro on anymore and Rogan kept defending the guy and Tony was just like, dude.. that guy is a fucking dork who makes you look bad. Stop having him on.
Honestly one of the funniest interactions I heard on the podcast where his actual friend is begging him to stop this nonsense and he just won't do it.

This site is overly left wing is the problem. People are getting down voted for saying it doesn't mean anything bad and higher rated comments are taking this way too far for assumptions because they're projecting their personal feelings of Joe.
Joe Rogan is a mainstream celebrity with a very popular podcast. If you took all of the comments in this thread at face value (including your own) you'd think he was some sort of terrorist.
He hosted a self confessed fascist... The fact that he's still a mainstream celebrity despite that doesn't make that ok

As was said elsewhere, if you listen to him, it's likely because you hold bigoted beliefs of some kind yourself. If you're ok with him hosting fascists, then you're in that picture...

Where can you? Every platform has a bias, this is just one of the rare ones that have a left one. You can still listen to what people have to say and use your brain to figure out what part is objective and what is subjective.
Another nice thing here compared to other platforms is that most people here offer some more serious input and care more about politics and the world, compared to normie platforms where every dumbass mindlessly repeat their propaganda.
