The set of investors are:
Elon Musk -- Who personally put $33 Billion into Twitter.
A conglomeration of banks -- Who put $13 Billion of debt into Twitter. Nominally, Twitter is the one who borrowed the money (aka: leveraged buyout).
I believe Elon Musk grabbed his buddies who chipped in $1 to $10 Billion (unknown how much exactly since it'd all be handshake deals between buddies), its all private now so no one has insight... aside from some public members like the Saudis IIRC who were investors in Twitter before, and after, the Elon Musk purchase.
