Who the fuck in a medical setting said an ectopic pregnancy might be viable?!

Probably a doctor afraid of losing their entire career by being sued to death by a bunch of fanatics
Ah yes, let's forgive someone putting their wallet over someone else's life just because other horrible people make vapid threats. Yes, let's allow the horrible people to get their way and still call ourselves good.
I want you to put your entire livelyhood on the line and potentially lose your medical license and everything you've worked for on top of possibly going to jail. Just so you can help someone. Guarantee you won't do it.
It's not just someone's wallet. There is way more to it than that.
The best thing they can do is to help them to find another Dr in another state that can help them out.
We need to get these idiots out of office and get a younger generation that actually represents the people in office.
Guarantee you won't do it.
"What is civil disobedience?"
I get both of your guys' points, but it's never black and white. I'm sure lots of people are afraid of losing their hard-built careers, but I'm also sure there are people disobeying this theocratic insanity.
I'm also sure there are people disobeying this theocratic insanity.
Not in Texas.
Yes, and capitulating and rolling over when they win is exactly how you DON'T "get those idiots out of office."
Just like the Democrats are fucking STUPID for their border gamble. Because now everyone is talking as if the Republican gaslighting about a border crisis is REAL. Now, Democrats STILL don't have aid to Ukraine, but now everyone thinks the Republicans are on to something instead of lying grifters...
This kind of shit is the slippery slope to hell. You DO NOT win against a cheater by listening to their twisted, broken "rules".
Good job allowing terrible people to import hell on earth.
Democrats STILL don't have aid to Ukraine
Democrats are going to get a fascist elected because Ukraine seems to be the only thing they care about.
When you take the hippocritic oath
Just wait until reporters get tired of this topic and move on. There will be a lot of unreported deaths.
Already are. Plus all the rape babies.
Cruelty and violence are the point.
Remember, these people already had it in them. They couldn't do this before, they don't have to do this, but they still do. Fuck both these doctors and the dumbfucks who signed these laws.
Don't the doctors have to do this or go to prison?
Well, sort of. If it's like 50% survival rate, it's kind of forced, but saying "there is a slight chance of survival, denied" is kind of on the doctor. I'd wager he could say "she would die if she continues, abort the pregnancy" and most ppl would agree.
Probably his butcheeks are tightened due to fear of going to prison by having someone else examine her and say its good to go? Not sure, it's fucked up anyway.
Most likely, the whole system is corrupt through and through. Who knows, maybe they are getting paid extra for this, or receive benefits.
In the end, it's money in the pockets of those companies.
Remember, Obamacare killed private practice through standards of care and handouts to insurance companies. It came out of the heritage foundation after all... Everything that comes from there is evil
The doctors probably work for a health system that has decided the policy. It's not even risking their job or freedom, it'd take a conspiracy of people doing so to succeed

people in Texas who call themselves Christians are all lying, selfish assholes.. ignorant, lying, selfish assholes, and proud of it..
Christianity was built on lies, gullibility (excuse me, I mean "faith"), cruelty, and violence.
And we give churches a lot of free money for it.
Working as intended, I guess
Yep. Feature, not a bug.
Doctors in these states should simply move or find a different profession. I'm not suggesting it is easy, or that it doesn't raise ethical concerns. But the immediate one is having to chose between malpractice, and leaving.
