Final Fantasy 16 sales did not meet high expectations, says Square Enix president (www.eurogamer.net)

Note: analyst at the briefing says "results were in the range of their expectations." Bloomberg report states it "did not meet the high end of the company’s expectations" (emphasis mine).

I mean, shit I didn't know it even released because I don't own a PS5.

I read that as well, but doesn't post it here, because i think the source it not that reliable. A week ago Square said it sells strong. But well you never know with Square Enix

Seems there's some nuance here--it met expectations, just not the high end. I've updated the post with links to quotes from someone at the meeting and the Bloomberg report.
