Yay. Holiday.

Also, whatever your leaning is, VOTE!

The biggest problem with Tharman is that he's wasted in the role. But hey, it's his decision to run...

Yea, I feel like he's really wasted. It's quite the paradox now, I feel like not voting for him would be better for him.

Agreed. Would've liked him as PM

@Wabbitsmiles @singapore it’s because many would’ve wanted him to be a PM, that they pushed him for presidency so that you can vote.
PM doesn’t need to be voted in by the people.

Why not Tan Kin Lian? Presidents became figureheads, might as well go for the funni and who knows if he's actually good in the same vein as Ukraine's Zelensky? At the very least it would make Singapore politics spicy.

It'll further enforce the mockery about SG presidency

  1. sitting government change the constitution
  2. Jokers get nominated
  3. Singaporeans vote in jokers for shits and giggles
  4. .....
  5. Profit!

@Wabbitsmiles @singapore I thought they were unhappy when the govt change the rules and a “joker” sits.

Now they’ll vote in a “joker” just for laughs.
