At least you could afford that. Growing up, all we had was this:
TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name
/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

I had this and I don't mind at all
Outstanding. This show gave us so much.
Is that a young Matt Berry?
It is indeed, this is from The IT Crowd
Well now I have a need to watch it.
It's very good, highly recommend
Edit: Though I guess I should note that Matt Berry doesn't show up until I think the second season, or maybe the very end of the first. Still, it's worth it all the way through
I've only seen him in What we do in the shadows, but basically he is just the same character in every role he plays!
This episode is getting a sequel in the next season
That’s black mirror and not electric sheep right?
I didn’t know they were even doing another season.. (yessssssss!!!)
Yes, that’s black mirror
I know! 😀 I'm totally here for it.
Haven't read much beyond that, so I'm not sure how "Trek" it'll be. That episode ends with them escaping to the online game with the ~~Star Trek~~ Space Fleet mods removed. Still, there's plenty of potential and there aren't really any bad episodes of Black Mirror.
Spoiler
Hopefully Jimmi Simpson isn't still burning alive in the plasma conduits 😬
Kindly enlighten me of where this image is from?
Cast photo of the Black Mirror episode USS Callister
Where is the bottom image from? I only recognize Grant Imahara in that pic. Man, do i miss his enthusiasm.
"Star Trek Continues". It's a fan "continuation" of TOS. It's surprisingly good.
Thank you. I guess i know what i’m watching today.
That feel when you have something better at home.
Only half-kidding. Every Trek fan should watch Star Trek Continues. It has fun for a while, including a cheeky sequel to Mirror, Mirror, then it goes hard and has a finale that rivals the films.
All while perfectly mimicking the visual style of the DesiLu production.
Its position alongside canon is that it connects the abrupt end of The Original Series with The Motion Picture in a very believable way. Visualizing the end of the five-year mission.
All while perfectly mimicking the visual style of the DesiLu production.
For those of us that are into set design, lighting, cinematography, etc. the first minute of the cold-open in episode 1 goes hard too. If they kept a 4:3 aspect ratio (I think) and added some film grain, I would have struggled to tell them apart. They did a phenomenal job here.
OK! You've sold me; I'll give it a try.
RIP Grant Imahara
