Fail to run brew update while turning on MullvadVPN (zerobytes.monster)

When I turn on MullvadVPN and run brew update, it shows this error:

==> Updating Homebrew...
Error: Failed to download https://formulae.brew.sh/api/cask.jws.json!
Failed to download https://formulae.brew.sh/api/formula_tap_migrations.jws.json!

However, the issue is gone if I turn off MullvadVPN.

Anyone has the same issue?
