So I'm going overseas for 4 months. I wanted to build a small pc I can take with me. But I just can't figure out what case should I get.
So I have an Asus Rog x670-i itx board and a 7950x. I understand it's a pretty powerful cpu but it's actually from my large pc that I'm pulling out the parts for and using these for the temporary mini pc build.
Parts I have atm.
- Rog X670-i itx mobo
- AMD 7950x cpu
- Rtx A2000 gpu
No power supply yet but basically here's where the problem lies. I absolutely have no clue what case I want to use. I thought about using an Inwin Chopin Max and maybe using a Pico psu. Would this allow me to put in an A2000? Assuming ofcourse I Mod it a bit to fit.
Another is is there any case that would be almost the same form factor as this Chopin from inwin?
I saw someone build something but it's pretty much a custom case and I absolutely have no time and the brains and resources to actually make one.
I want something tiny and really portable. I know I can use those small flex plugs since the A2000 only pulls 70watts. And assuming I can get a power supply around 250 to 300 watts I should be good. But then I won't get the form factor I want.
Another option again is to use a Pico psu and have it on an outside. But I absolutely have no clue what case and how to do it.
I guess what I'm saying is I can research up on the pico psu thing. But for the case. I really have no idea if it will even fit or how to do it.
Would anyone actually know a place than can custom 3d print it for me and I just pay them? Is there something for sale like that?
I leave the 3rd week of October so I'm kinda in a rush.
PS: I do have an Rog Ally and the Xg mobile but my inner kid wants me to build one and use one instead of the Ally.
I also have an Rog 3080ti but making a portable itx build with that would just be pointless since its too big and bulky to travel 3 different countries to.
