Jon Stewart roasted Tucker Carlson about his bowtie when Jon was a guest so badly that Tucker stopped wearing them.
i'm old enough to remember that
funny enough, that was on CNN, stewart obliterated them and the show was canceled shortly after
Was that the Crossfire episode? Oof. I remember watching that back in the day. Not very often do you see a guest so completely dismantle the toxicity of a show that it gets cancelled very, very shortly thereafter.
jon stewart is a national treasure. the world would be a darker place without him both standing up for the people who need it and also bitchslapping the people who need it

Stewart also more or less got Tucker’s original show taken off the air because he fucking CRUCIFIED - but in a hilariously subtle and elegant fashion - on Tucker’s own show when he was invited as a guest.
Oh, it was ultimately a mistake.
