I'm not very familiar with TikTok, but isn't the special thing about it it's addictive algorithm? As far as I understand TikTok is not "just a platform for sharing short videos".
I mean this project sounds great and I am excited to see how it goes, but is it smart to advertise it as the "TikTok competitor"?
I don't think they promote themselves as TikTok competitor, that's just TechCrunch words.
