The church has encouraged visitors to “share their thoughts and questions” with AI Jesus, though it clarified that this shouldn’t be considered the Sacrament of Confession.
So then AI Jesus is not actually taking confessions like Vice's titles states.
It is taking confessions but the Sacrament of Confession involves the absolution of sins, which the AI is not doing.
I see, I'm not Catholic and thought confessions always included the absolution part
What if a local bishop just splashed some holy water on the server that runs AI Jesus .... does that count?
So sue them.
The AI Jesus is inside the confessional.
