They did a really good job with integrating the environment into the animation, I'm looking forward to more

Also they might be too close to copyright infringement with the Not!Tau getting bodied

They’re fine. Humanoid aliens with high tech is not exactly the most unique idea.

I like the modern military style radio chatter. It’s something that would be out of place in 40k. I also can’t stop looking at how uneven the Sergeant’s face is, his eyes have seen some things.

I think it's from the people who made the exodite. People in the comments were saying they were already subbed from before the channel name change and the videos were taken down.

Yup. I wouldn't doubt they got some inspiration from early Astarties. And they may have worked with him after they were both poached by games workshop as well. But no official connection.
