Now youtube is blocking the video player after three adblocked videos. Hamdilillah for individius.
videos
Breadtube if it didn't suck.
Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.
Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.
There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.
A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.
It's about to hit -50F out on pine ridge and people are literally going to die but anything anyone can throw at the fundraiser right now will help save lives.
I wish the strong winter was happening here where we have heating and such, rather than where you don't. I will chip in.
They started doing this a while back. I found that logging out of google fixes it. That seems to reset its count for me on the off-chance I accidentally forget to log out again after checking my gmail.
I ran across this yesterday as a sort of status tracker between YouTube's anti-adblocker script and the latest updates to the uBlock Origin extension:
https://drhyperion451.github.io/does-uBO-bypass-yt/
The uBO team is usually pretty quick about fixing it, but you still have to close out all of your browser windows and flush/reload the uBlock Origin cache. Otherwise, YewTube/Invidious is really nice for sidestepping the anti-adblock bullshit in between uBO updates.
they link to that but it seems like it's almost always red even when it's working for me
Yeah, there are definitely some false positives, like right now. Yesterday sure as hell wasn't, though.
it's not a false positive though, the tool just doesn't (by design) do the thing it is linked by uBO to do. And maybe it can't, but to me I decided it was worse than just not knowing
I'm a small sample size though since I've only looked at it like 4-5x ever. I see today it is actually green. If instead it had a three tier system I feel like it'd be more useful, green for known working, yellow for new script unconfirmed (the current behavior of red), then it could either be confirmed back to green or confirmed red if it's not working
I posted this here like half a day ago but I think my posts here are bugged for some reason now, weird.
federation is broken again
I think it's fixed now at least
I found a YouTube link in your post. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
