Hey, I have an older version of the same case. Very solid choice.

I think the "logic" is that if things are too expensive to import then companies will start manufacturing them domestically and create jobs. But that almost never works out. An economist could probably explain why better than I can.
I do know that the better approach is to support those industries here. That's why we recently dumped a bunch of money into the CHIPS and Science act.
Aw... we used to have a ginger tabby that would get up on my desk to get my attention while I was gaming. She sadly passed about 8 years ago. I still miss her.
And yet, 56% voted to put Trump back in the white house. The guy who made such restrictive abortion laws possible in the first place. I just don't understand people.
Even if all they do is make it illegal for school districts to require enrolled students to be vaccinated (or at least have a waiver), then the result is that vaccines will be dramatically less effective at preventing disease.
This quote from your link really pisses me off:
“He says, ‘If you give me the data, all I want is the data, and I’ll take on the data and show that it’s not safe,’” Lutnick said. “Let’s give him the data. I think it’ll be pretty cool to give him the data. Let’s see what he comes up with. I think it’s pretty fun.”
THAT'S NOT HOW FUCKING SCIENCE WORKS! You don't get to start with the premise "it's not safe" and then go looking for data to support your premise. You start with the data and go where it leads you. That data is already available, BTW, and has been for ages. RFJ Jr has already been shown the data and refused to accept it many times. He's convinced that some nameless agency is hiding the Truth from him.
Also, the idea of completely upending agencies that deal with public health so you can enforce your personal pet conspiracy theories is not "pretty fun." It's nightmare fuel.
Trump won't have the authority to pardon him for this. It's a local, civil case.
They tried, but he keeps moving shit.
"You're infringing on our authority to run free and fair elections by trying to send lawyers to help ensure that we run free and fair elections!"

Tape to Tape. It's a roguelite hockey game that has a big sense of humor.
Right? The 20th century ended almost a quarter of a century ago. So mad.
Accountability: : the quality or state of being accountable
especially : an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one's actions
He's literally saying "this is my fault." That doesn't mean he's willing to suffer the consequences personally. Not defending his decisions, just pointing out that people seem to be misunderstanding what "accountable" means.
A lot of people are playing the blame game right now. I haven't seen much planning for how to do better going forward. Maybe that's part of the problem.
