Definitely worth a watch! I had not read the book before watching it, which I think was good going into it.
I enjoyed it as a movie outright, but it wasn’t until I did a report on it for a class that I learned to appreciate a lot of the undertones and imagery that I didn’t catch on the first pass. If you come back after you watch it I’ll tell you my favorite subtle thing I missed the first time (which I’m sure is more obvious in the book)!
Gonna tack on The Mist to your list.
At the very least it stars Thomas Jane and Andre Bruagher, which is a win in its own right imo.

I made this prediction before kind of joking, but I feel like it could still end up this way, where in the near future we’ll all be installing a FOSS AI after a fresh install whose sole job is to target the corpo AI’s on our local machines and continuously cripple them.
I prefer to download instead of stream or watch a bunch of gifs, so when the time comes I just hit up a zero-day rip site and browse all the scenes from a majority of the major network sites.
Most reliable, extensive, and easy to use is 0xxx.ws
