You're not alone. While I missed out on it, I have heard from many people that it was an amazing game. I'm sure there will be a fan made reproduction or something some day.

I played swtor a lot during covid and met a lot of cool people. I imagine server's were a bit more active then, but they were still pretty quiet. I play DDO a lot which is basically the same game on a diffrent skin, and am lucky enough to be in an awesome guild that makes it easy to find friends. With a level cap that only really goes to 20 it's a lot easier to fond groups too.
Same developers as everquest, another one that people are really really fond of.
Ffxiv is the one modern mmorpg I have reccomeneded to me more than any other. I know I'm going to play it, but I kind of want to keep sampling trash first
Now that is not a game I have seen anyone say yet! The art style is nice, kind of like wow. I'll have to watch some game play videos and see what it was like. Maybe you'll get a private server or a classic revival some day.
What's AH? I'm no good with acronyms.
Edit: is it auction house? Google is leading me to think it's auction house but I remember people griping about it when I played around 10 years ago.
Everquest seems to be gaining popularity against all odds. I have had this hame reccomended to me more passionately than any other game. I will, eventually, take the pluge and give it a go.
If I have looked into this before I'm drawing a blank now. It sounds like it would be something I would enjoy. Thank you!
I'm going to do another post eventually where I summarize these and talk about some of the ones I've tried. Like these posts, it's not going to contain any information or anything intresting, just some things to talk about. I think the reccomendations I got in my last post were much more varied and intresting then what I've seen on reddit and other sites.
I just tried bless unleashed for the first time and it seemed really solid, until I looked into the reviews. Anyone have any thoughts on this, Terra, or any of the other impressive looking mmorpgs that never make it to these lists? If you have a favorite that people seem to hate I would love to hear what you like about.
While I'll of those are excellent options I'm actually most interested in project gorgon of all things.
Even online interests me for sure, but I'm very scared of it.
This is one I'm not familiar with! Or remembering anyway. Looks like there are still private servers going of you want to scratch that itch. There was also a sequel, and maybe a couple others? I didn't do much research because I'm pretending to work. Going to check it out!

I thought I was going to enjoy blesses combat system at first but it just feels...off. Terra looked nice, but from what I've heard we're not missing much.
