Honestly, just set up an RSS feed. The internet is a bunch of isolated echo-chambers where you self-select into the chamber with the narrative you favor.

Anna’s Archive. 37,666,367 books, 105,835,081 papers — preserved forever. I've replaced my entire physical library and can now take my reading on the go.
I just want universal healthcare FOR FUCKS SAKE
He has concepts of a plan lmao
Seriously though, fuck the two party system. Vote blue in 2024 and then work to enact ranked choice voting. That's a start. There are a lot of things we need to change (e.g., gerrymandering, corporate capture, legal bribery, insider trading in Congress) but those things will never happen when both parties maintain the status quo.
Yes, both parties. Dems play lip service and then don't do much outside the norm. (To be fair, Republicans don't even pay lip service.) We need actually progressive Congresspeople/POTUS in Washington, and that's not happening without abolishing first past the post.
What if Donald Trump ran for president in 2028? The powers that be can keep this going since its a win-win. Vote for establishment Democrats who are leaning more right or vote for a fascist who will move the needle overnight.
I'm not a tech person, so I'll take the lowest hanging fruit. The obvious answer is to write a program that can detect AI. Then there will be a competition between AI fakes and AI detection. This is similar to what we have in sports. There are forbidden enhancement procedures (e.g., steroids, blood doping, etc.) that have to keep improving in subtlety so not to be detected by Anti cheating measures.
Lemmy mods are the same. Actually, a lot of our mods were literally reddit mods.
More like Mussolini 2.0
I can't imagine growing up with social media. Probably not good for development.
"Hey, stop doing that... please?"

It can be news on topics you're interested in, blogs on topics you're interested in, comics, subreddits, etc. To give an idea, I follow:
Depending on your RSS app, you can also follow podcasts. I use InoReader for the above but I prefer a dedicated podcast app. There's good/entertaining RSS feeds on the internet if you're willing to curate it! It's nice to get away from internet comments.
