I'm kind of old now I guess. But when I was a kid, there would always be some kind of busy work. Things like filing or stuffing envelopes were great kid tasks.
Not really sure what kind of office work a kid could do anymore. Don't think IT would really appreciate letting a kid on their computers.

We (at least in my school education) were taught how easily masses are manipulated by emotions, groupthink crowd dynamics and psychology. How strong and blinding tribalism can be.

They came up with the ACME protocol, so presumably somebody could. The real barrier to entry is the cost of getting into that certificate chain of trust. I have no idea why it's so difficult and expensive.
