I'm not sure if its completely official but if you look for software such as emacs it lists the fsf as the creator and the donation link works.

I like the idea of flatpak but I want the option to block all non-free software and non-free dependencies.

I'm interested in making some lofi hip-hop beats to share on funkwhale, just to try out the hobby and see how I like it. What's my best bet for a foss solution? I'm not going to be very serious at all, at least for the foreseeable future, so if the solution isn't ideal, that's okay -- I'm more interested in seeing what the community has to offer than using state-of-the-art software. I run a Windows machine, but do development on an Ubuntu WSL image, and I have access to a Mac, if that helps narrow it down.

OsmAnd is a map application for mobile phones that is free software. They have a free version but there are a bunch of paid features. I want to support them and get those features but they seem to be unwilling to accept other forms of payment.
