I have waited 5 years to play this masterpiece. Never had a Sony or a PC. My girlfriend surprised me with the game for my birthday since I always talked about it so much. There is not a single thing I hate about it except that it’s short. The combat, the enemies, the story etc. is perfect. There is not a single time I wasn’t enjoying myself. Even the bullshit is fine cause you are a shinobi, bullshit the fuck back. An unforgettable experience one I wish I could repeat. And those dual naginata monks are probably my favorite enemy.

Dear shinobis. Even after beating the game, I really struggle with these guys. May you give me some tips to fight them. Like a good prosthetic weapon that counters them or a shinobi skill. I would also like to know after which attack is a good way to punish them. I don’t really know if it’s normal to be struggling with them even after finishing the game. Thanks for reading.

It was close to impossible.😥 I was close to crying at times.For those who don't recognize the screen. It's the screen you'll see after beating the final boss of the game: Kensei Ashina Ishin, translated to English for some reason as Ishin, the Sword Saint.It took me 4 days to beat this guy. I'd try for an hour a day. It just felt impossible to beat him. Most of the time I got stuck on Phase 1 of Ishin (after beating his pre-boss).Only rarely, I was able to make it to Phase 2. Only once, I made it to Phase 3. Once there, I went all-in and through all my rice balls on me and went hard at him.Amazing, amazing game. It teaches you when you set your mind on something, you can do it!To anyone who's hesitating or stuck in the game. Just keep on trying. You'll eventually learn all the boss moves and it will feel like a cakewalk! Sekiro is a training in perseverance. Once you succeed, it feels incredible!Sekiro! 🙏

that's all i gotta say honestly. i'm new to this game and it took me 40+ tries but i finally, finally managed to beat lady butterfly. and as someone who's new, i really felt the difficulty spike up with this boss. can't describe the frustration of dying to those orbs in phase 2 or losing health because of mistimed dodges during her special jump attack, mistiming the deflect on her 3-4 hit combos. needless to say, "You were still just a puppy" will remain seared into my brain for a long time lmao.P.S Toughest boss/mini-boss i've seen yet and this is only the second one lmao. excited (and yet, not so much) to see the next few ones. Currently exploring senpou temple and beat the "Roberttoooo" knight

So i was at the merchant today after recently obtaining the mortal blade (this is my first playthrough) and i just couldnt understand why i would ever buy these. I then proceeded to try to beat the headless dude near the monk place in that dark cave (died a lot) and after failing and seeing that i once again lost all of my sen it dawned on me... i could buy the purses, fight bosses, and never lose sen...maxium facepalmHas this been in all souls games? Have i completely missed this mechanic in years of souls games?

Idk if it's just me but whenever i do without kuro charm and demon bell this mf is literally impossible to beat evn tho i killed him 5 6 time with kuro charm and i also deflect ashina cross of isshin pretty well evn without kuro charm amd base vitality

Just to add my 2 cents to the conversation. Every boss/mini-boss take at least 50 tries for me. The game is insaaaane! I am getting better though, so that's nice. Haven't reached Genichiro yet. Gyobu at least 100 tries over 2 year period. Seven spears at least 50 tries. This guy near the entrance to Abandoned Dungeon (very claustrophobic area) at least fuckin 150 trieees.I havent beaten Lady Maria (Edit: Butterfly) yet, but have done at least 30 tries already.Chained Ogre however was I think 20 tries, so quite nice.What really makes me happy playing is to realize how ruthless the devs were. Like "fuck them noobs, git gud or fckin dieeeeee!". I feel like I'm being taught by monks in South East Asia, no mercy!
