Hey can we get a function that asks the user in question if they want to be mod/admin ? (lemmy.sdf.org)

Now anyone can be made mod/admin without their consent . A yes or no option would be much appreciated so someone can't abuse it and make innocent people mod/admin of troubling instances or communities .

Software making doesn’t need to be social media. Sad are the folks that think everything with an account should be Web 2.0.
