Boost for reddit has now truly 100% died. Hello Lemmy! (lemmy.world)

The Boost for Reddit app still worked for a while after the big shutdown with workarounds, like creating a mod account or using revanced.

Not anymore, as of today, the Boost for Reddit app is completely 100% dead now.

Goodbye reddit forever, hello lemmy

I came to see if there was any chatter on this... I have a feed but no comments load. ☹️ Are there any other options besides maybe (revanced) official reddit, if that's still a thing?

I believe a few apps got exceptions, but I don't remember which.

Redreader looks open source and it seems to be working. It's a lot more limited, which might be a good thing

Ah redreader I'll look into that, revanced keeps failing to patch the official reddit app for me. 🙃

Just FYI if anyone cares to patch the official app, I believe you need to use 2024.17.0 from April 24th. Per comments from someone on apkmirror, that's the last version that patches successfully.

I just installed Atom for reddit, it's pretty barebones but works for me

I infinity for reddit is the best for me but it's down for now. There is an update but I don't know if it will help. I'll check it out tomorrow
