I think once any group gets too big a lot of people end up just stepping back and watching. On Reddit I always felt that it wasn't worth contributing, if you didn't get a popular reply on quickly it would end up sinking and no one would see it. The fast and loud people had lots of entertaining conversations, but there was not much space for the slow and thoughtful. You are not the first person to say you lurked on Reddit but felt you could contribute here. ๐
