How is this game? Anybody got feedback? As I recall from gameplay videos from when it first launched, it seemed like a lot of fun particularly because it was melee based instead of a shooter. Interested in trying it out when it lands on PS5.
It is definitely chaotic fun when you get a bunch of squads together in a clash. It’s pretty simplistic, and kinda janky, but I put a good 10 hours into it before getting bored, and at the price of a month of gamepass that was worth it to me. With it going F2P I’d be worried about p2w elements creeping in, but honestly I don’t even remember what the micro transactions were about because I just played matches and ignored everything else.
There is no P2W element in this game, and the game is purely skill-based.
The game is indeed janky with the parry and cancelling mechanics. Once you are familiar with those mechanics, it's really fun with the holdchecking to see who have bigger brain.
The game was designed with asian elements so it might be weird if you are westerners.
Yeah the combat reminded me a bit of melee k-style play styles from Gunz back in the day. I’ll probably sneak back in once it’s free and play some more. Only reason I stopped playing is because I didn’t want to keep paying for gamepass.
That sounds like it’s got elements of mind games from fighting games mixed into it.
