I haven’t been keeping up with Bolivia as much as I should, what’s the latest on the MAS party split that was making news some time ago? If I recall, one faction of MAS is denouncing this president (Lucho) and wanting to run Evo in the next elections. I’m hoping it’s not some rift that the right can take advantage of and come back to power.
They still have not resolved the Arcistas and Evistas split, but there might be room for resolution. The next election is not until 2025, and I hope both sides realize that they risk to destroy everything they built over the past decades if the split continues. I do hope they’re able to work it out. I love Evo but I find myself wondering if it wouldn’t be better for him to step aside at this point.
