I believe sync for lemmy has a tablet mode. Never used it so can't comment on quality.

Do you use any useful frontend like Voyager, Tesseract, or whatever? Or do you just go with whatever web UI your instance gives you?

I don't like the mobile layout on a phone but Kbin / Mbin is probably not terrible on a tablet.
