Question for people who do climb. Does the Trad climbing method do any harm to the rock face when being placed/removed repeatedly? Curious if there would be any benefit to the permanent method.

TIL the ice cream truck song has racist origins. Good Humor has been trying to replace it on trucks.
Things like this are always very conflicting. I feel fairly confident saying that almost nobody knew of the history, nor mentally associated it with anything historically racist. By digging up these old ideas it feels as if we are empowering the racist ideas of the past instead of letting them be forgotten as they deserve to be.
Even comparing them to beanie babies is giving them too much credit. Beanie babies exist
