What version are you working on atm?

Oh no, I am sorry i should have been more specific. Homelab = Selfhosting. Those 2 terms get thrown around interchangeably? i think the word is.

Basically my homelab/Selfhost projects consist of things i can selfhost easily. Calendar, contacts/address book, my own "cloud" server, etc etc. Why do i need to let google know my calendar, or contacts, or my files. same goes for browser history/bookmarks etc. i use firefox so i run my own firefox sync server.

other things are "luxery". like music collection, and what have you.

All in all, if i can keep my data 100% inside my house/server, then i am happy.

I swear, if you ever make this happen i would love to host/play in a private genshin server. Holy fuck if u get this done :O

I am also one to fixate from time to time on a game or a show. However right now i am fixated on my homelab. trying to make the best out of it, but also my linux distro (i reinstalled just few days ago, and probably will reinstall it again).

What i want from my linux distro (which i already have half done) is to be able to reinstall it, copy/paste command from my git repo and i am done. for software and fonts this is already the case, but i want to do more. like my theme on KDE, how i setup the taskbar, my dolphin layout, etc etc. so in future it can be copy/paste command + copy/paste .dot config files.

It actually is :P some insane coding he is doing. Can't blame the guy. My code wouldn't be as bad as his but still bad. He is the type of guy like me who uses duck tape and a rubber band. and when it is "stable" enough and it "just works" it is "good enough" 😆

Heck yeah, never tried doing it this way. will have to see what i can do with this :D Thanks

That is just damn cute!

Correct! you want to do it in txt2img first (render really good image). only THEN do you wanna upscale it (not via img2img as it will take a shit ton of time and change the image slightly). u want to do it via extras tab then, and then choosing a method to upscale. i can tell you exactly what you need, how to do it in future if u want. go with you step by step

You can always try upscaling without re-rendering the whole image. It will stay the same, but upscaled to a higher resolution. This is the method i use to upscale to big resolution.

example:

The above image has a resolution of: 5120 x 2880

Initial render was 512 x 768. So it keeps the whole image intact, no changes, but does the upscale on it. Mind you, any imperfections will stay in this method.

If you truely want to upscale with a re-render you can expect the image to slightly change. I never had luck keeping an image to stay the exact same when upscaling using img2img

ProtonVPN user here for a very long time.

  • No log policy
  • known for privacy
  • based in switzerland

and my favorite of them all, has great core servers, secure servers (tor relayed etc), and my favorite is torrenting/p2p servers. I also use their mail server. The only thing i don't use is their cloud drive and calendar (as i host my own).

When it comes to just any VPN, i also host my own so i can access my stuff from outside.

heard PIA is also good, mullvad would be my second choice if i wasn't on protonvpn.
