submitted 3 months ago by SoulsFetchBot to c/sekiro

Hello , my bf loves sekiro game so much and his birthday is coming up , I didn't play it so I don't know much about it but I want to make him a pendant with something sekiro related , I was thinking the death kanji since he dies a lot , or the shinobi execution kanji , please help if you have better ideas ? He already has toji's sword in a necklace so I wanted to add something to that , this is what I'm going for , thank you for you help .

I somehow reach second phase and die each time. I mostly heard she took people 5-10 tries on average (I think) and my last try being more than 50th, should I just quit the game already? I know I can defeat her at some point, but just the fact that there are going to be harder bosses than her makes me question this. SoulsBornes were never really for me because of their punishing natures, but this one seems like the one I got the most further into because of the visuals and aesthetic. So far I've defeated only Gyoubo which I'm sure took me around 20-25 tries.Another question actually: Is it even possible to kill her without controller on pc?

I almost had this guy but then his friends showed up :( I want to like this game because when I do well it’s so exciting, but I’d guess that 3/4 of my time played has been just unenjoyable. Any tips for how to not lose interest in this game? Perhaps areas to go, things to get better at in terms of game mechanics? I haven’t beat Genichiro at the top of Ashina Castle if that’s of any help. Thanks in advance :D

Headless ape alone is easy. The bois dont attack at the same time 99% of you know when to not attack and they have consistant patterns (headless scream to brown full combo, headless reckless attack to brown boi jump, headless dive attack to brown boi hand sweep, etc.) Since you can use the lance prostetic to do massive posture damage to headless downtime on attacks is not a problem. Everything said, Fun unique challenge, 7/10

There's a lot that happens off screen, he obtained immortality of his own, he got a second mortal blade, he kidnapped the divine heir... there's even opportunity to go back and revisit a memories of him defending Ashina. It would have been great to play the game from his perspective and have the opportunity to fight Sekiro. Recycle some of the main game maps, add a few new areas. It's adds just enough content for DLC but not enough to justify a new game.I know DLC will probably never happen at this point but a man can dream. There are other games that are older than Sekiro and release free DLC on the regular.

Anotha one! This one was much harder to get a good balance of both characters but I feel pretty satisfied with this. Anyway, enjoy! Owl Father Next!

So I went on in the game after beating the Chained Ogre in the fifth try without taking damage, and then i struggled so much with that general afterwards I had to take 20-25 tries to beat him. But then I went on to fight Gyoubu and surprisingly I found that his horse is affected by firecrackers and I beat him in just my second try! I wanna know whether it's normal? Since he is the first boss in the game? Or is he just an easy boss?

So, I accidentally posted this meme in the Elden Ring community yesterday and nobody said anything! Just deleted it there and reposting in this one. Sorry if you're seeing it twice.

Ngl I never thought I would play the gauntlet because of how hard the inner bosses are perceived to be...but onto the tengu gauntlet next I guess? 💀Jokes aside, I died to the antechamber chained ogre afterwards lol. Never fails to amaze me how bullshit that thing is.

This is specifically for the people that can already cheese glock saint and even the rare few that can pass the mist noble.Do you remember the feeling you got when this guy was a challenge?Be honest too... cause it's when you legit first picked up the game. (I'm sure a few of our best lost to this guy at least once in the first round)I kinda miss that feeling of the NEW challenge. Where every easy cheese boss or even mini boss like this was a big hurdle.

Having played the game when it came out, I initially thought it too difficult, getting stuck at lady butterfly and giving up after hours of attempts. Over the years, I would re install and attempt to get further again and again, with no luck. Only recently, within the past 2 weeks, did I finally start making progress, I think largely because of a 120 fps mod to be honest. I beat lady butterfly, who it turns out you don't need the snap seeds for phase two, and moved on to other bosses, like genichiro, one of the best fights in the game with a great song. And the O'Rin of the water fight, and the one with the dragon, and the crazy fight with owl where he can mikiri counter your attacks, sort of like the rapier guy in the undead parish from dark souls 1, and all the cool fights with the roaming boss generals. But the best fight in the whole game, that took me 4 hours straight to beat, is of course Isshin Ashina, the Sword Saint. Obviously it starts with genichiro, but his moveset is largely similar to his initial fight, so it wasn't so bad. But man when isshin shows up, he doesn't mess around. His first phase isn't so bad, he has a few mikiri attacks, and you can actually parry the crazy wind attacks which was awesome. Phase two gave me the most trouble, with the polearm/spear he starts using in addition to his katana, makes his moveset really hard to read. But eventually I got to his final phase and with enough perfect deflections and remembering to counter his lightning attacks, he went down after 4 hours, with a stylish as heck execution. And I really do think he's one of the best from soft bosses, simply because he was a completely fair boss, you could respond to all of his moves with counters or dodges of some kind, any time you took damage it was your fault, he has no BS moves, only ones you can respond to. I could feel myself getting better at the fight went on, parrying more and more of his attacks until it became second nature. Truly, one of the best fights they've ever done. Glad I finally took the time to beat Sekiro, thank you for reading. Hesitation is Defeat.

For me, he is harder than all bosses that I've fought. Now I'm wondering if the DoH or isshin will harder than owl, should I farm more skill point to increase attack power? Any tips for me when I face the inner father later?

I like the look of the sword and was wondering if there are any places selling a functional (preferably cost effective) replica online? I know there are replicas online for the mortal blades, but what about wolf's katana?
