New OLED screen. New APU. And lots of small hardware improvements.

Would there be any reason for anyone, like myself, who doesn’t already own a steam deck to not get an OLED model? I’m definitely interested.

$150 cheaper.

Edit: And less likely to develop screen burn-in at some point in the future.

Depending on when you pull the trigger, 2/3 of your options will be OLED anyway.

They're phasing out the original LCD 64 and 512 models and only retaining the 256 LCD. The new lineup is 256 LCD, 512 OLED, and 1TB OLED. Permanent price cuts are in effect for the 64 and the 512 LCD until they run out of stock.

The cheapest 64GB one on clearance is a steal, just stick your own m.2 in there later
