The awesome thing about "AI" (these LLMs) is that they can sound super convincing if you're not already competent at the task you're asking them to do.

So all they're really doing is revealing what we've already known all along.

Technology had advanced so much that the contradictions are just sharpening themselves now.

lol, all resumes go straight to the racism computer so the boss is free to only do racism recreationally

They told us AI would take our jobs, but all they're doing is using AI to eliminate their own jobs.

Careful bossman. You're much less important than the people who do real work, wouldn't want to make yourself redundant!

I've made an AI advanced enough to replace the entire bourgeoisie:

10 PRINT "work harder than last month. good work. you aren't working hard enough. no to your question"

20 GOTO 10

Nice. Now lets make them Halt and Catch Fire.

Yeah, it's very telling how no one has tried to make an AI CEO, but AI art was top priority.

Phrenology with math is a good way to describe it

i think this is the consequence off too much reserve army of labor. if the labor market were actually tight like the central banks and capitalists are saying, capitalists wouldn't be throwing away candidates willy-nilly.

I wonder if you could have much success using AI to take the interview for you in such cases. I've had very few if any circumstances where specific things I've said in an interview were brought up later while working somewhere, they're usually just a vague reference to me seeming confident or to the type of experience mentioned in my resume so I doubt I'd be caught out. You could also just read the interview later to be safe but at that point you may as well have actually taken it yourself which defeats the purpose.

yea this was my first thought

if the interview is being conducted by an AI why not have an AI do it, with an American accent and some blonde twink face
