Ergonomic, split and other weird keyboards
Posts must be of/about keyboards that have a clear delineation between the left and right halves of the keyboard, column stagger, or both. This includes one-handed (one half doesn't exist, what clearer delineation is that!?)
i.e. no regular non-split¹ row-stagger and no non-split¹ ortholinear²
¹ split meaning a separation of the halves, whether fixed in place or entirely separate, both are fine.
² ortholinear meaning keys layed out in a grid
No excessive posting/"shilling" for commercial purposes. Vendors are permitted to promote their products/services but keep it to a minimum and use the [vendor] flair. Posts that appear to be marketing without being transparent about it will be removed.

I use Jerboa fine. Lemmy.world is holding off on updating until Lemmy brings back captcha and that's ok. Never tried any other client.

This is a good post and it's great that you're searching for ways to improve and optimize your experience on Lemmy... but to set expectations... Lemmy isn't as polished as reddit, it's not going to become so overnight, and if it does become more polished it's going to be because we each individually do things to make it so.

I can whole-heartedly recommend Memmy app for those using iOS. They are also starting a beta for an Android app as well. The development speed is insane, and the app is already reminiscent of Apollo!
All my Reddit stuff is gone, so I’m here permanently now. Having a well-designed, functional app definitely makes a huge difference.
Months later and Memmy has been abandoned. Try Avelon or Lemmios. They’re actually native unlike Memmy.
I just downloaded Memmy. Thanks for the recommendation - the installation process was simple.
