Pelaton will begin charging users who purchase a bike second hand a one-time $95 activation fee on top of their monthly subscription fee to use the bike - but only if the bike is purchased through an "unauthorized reseller" (so basically Facebook marketplace). Personally I find this rather I furiating. Pelaton is already collecting a monthly subscription fee to use their bikes. So this is seemingly another shameless cash grab.
