Calling war, death, and killing an investment is pure financebro brain. And a lot of
financebros are thirsty for (vicariously experienced) bloodshed. 
Doubly something because they're certainly not investing their own lives. It's not like the boys on the front are counting on the folks back home to recycle and plant a victory garden. This is someone else's kids dying thousands of miles away, and the Lib's only contribution is paying their taxes and shitposting on behalf of NATO.
This is all being done by a government that pays no measurable attention to public sentiment, that they have no say in or influence on, and that is just going to do whatever it wants regardless of what they think or try to do about it.
