I mainly play SF6 nowadays but STRIVE is what got me into the FGC and the new patch looks interesting and fun. I wanted to be able to compete at both games, but I feel that I tend to gravitate towards one or the other and one skill set ends up taking a hit because of it. I used to a be a decently solid STRIVE player but stopped playing to try and hit master on SF6 (one rank away!). Now I came back to play a bit before the patch drops and didn't know what to even do.

How can I balance both games? How do you find the equilibrium?

Traditional fighters have 3s, tekken, soul cal 2,mk but i can’t think of any influential anime fighter other than gg and melty are there more anime fighter classics that I’ve haven’t heard of or is it just these two (mainly asking cus I’m trying to find an anime to get into and melty and gg aren’t cutting it)

Patch Update!!! #BlazingStrike

Hi guys! Our first patch update is now available for download for the PS5 version and Steam version (Switch and PS4 soon). I would also like to let you know that there is another patch coming in early November. Here are the details:

Our first patch (available now for PS5 and Steam):

• Addressed critical issues in Training Mode where options would not work in non-English setting.
• Stun Bar display has been added.
• PS5 version now supports PS4 arcade sticks🕹️

Next upcoming patch (early Nov.):

• Gameplay related bug fixes
• Gameplay updates regarding Rush Parry and juggle system
• Online mode related bug fixes
• Minor updates to UI/Command List

There are a plethora of characters throughout fighting games that use only punches, most/all of them being boxers.

But I can't off the top of my head think of a character that uses only kicks.

The closest I can think of is characters like Hwoarang in Tekken who uses mainly kicks, or Juri in Street Fighter who has kicks assigned to her HP button.

But none that I can think of that use exclusively kicks. Does such a character exist?
