Also known as Za Warudo, The Universe represents endings, fulfilment, completion, destination, and belonging. It is the final card in the major arcana, the end of the fool's journey, wherein she realizes the oneness and totality of everything, that substance and style, form and matter, noumenal and phenomenonal, thesis and antithesis are all bound together and are defined in terms of each other. The internal world is a mirror of the external, and our own microcosmic biomes are in turn reflections of the whole universe. The universe is at the same time both one and many, the ultimate totality that sets the boundaries of discourse and also the only constant referent.

For some reason I assumed it was the 21st not the 20ith. At least I didn't have any spell work planed. Guess I'll just extra offering and call it good.

Not only is it International workers day it is also the midpoint between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice. I just had a lovely barbecue with the family to celebrate. I also made bread and decorated my hawthorne tree. Tonight I am attending an orgy. :anarchist-occult:

I frequently bring up the fact that being a druid is what lead me to being a leftist. Just found this quote and I think it sums things up much better then I could.

We therefore recognize that our individuality is only an illusion, or a temporary state while we are in physical bodies. So certain political philosophies, such as libertarianism, are anathema to us. Selfishness is the greatest evil there is. We really are our brothers keeper as he is ours.

I know other forms of paganism have similar philosophies. I think is cool and important to realize that some religions can actually lead directly to communism. So next time your with your grove/coven/group start talking to people about how their beliefs have a direct political counterpart.
