A pen combo that convert written text into typing text. From the ads, I think the device can also send the message for you.
The pen cost $15.
I don't know if sending that email cost anything. Unclear if it hook into your fax line or internet line or their own network.
I think the ad is just claiming the pen will still be working when the future brings write-to-text technology into your home, not that the pen itself will do this.

But too bad in 2004, the technology that instant send message as you done written is not common yet. I am not sure if it exist in 2004, but I am sure it is not common. We still use fax mostly, like, until 2010s
