Why would not picking up the trash damage the tiles on the ground?
Never seen the floors of a hoarder's house? They are decimated by the weight, rats, and bugs that live in the waste.
Yeah, but those are usually wood or carpet, not stone tiles.
Have hoarder in-laws, they have broken tile flooring.
Anecdotally proven ;-)
