Anyone who says violence is never the answer has never been in a situation where violence is the only answer.
It's one of those things where it really isn't the answer until it is.
I guess, unless, you are the type of person who is willing to let people you care about get seriously injured, then by all means be the pacifist.
There have been times in my life where violence was definitely not the answer. Violence was the question and the answer was 'Yes.'
