From my understanding this is kinda a stunt to prevent backlash and such, and I assume they'll get back together after the election
That's my line of thinking.
Given the image Jack Black cultivated for himself, being around anyone who wished for a political figure's death will work against that image, no matter how much Black may agree or disagree with Kyle. It's a perfectly understandable decision and I doubt it's permanent.
