This was the game I chose when I got my Gameboy. I definitely beat it, can't remember a ton about it, but it was a solid game. The NES game was top notch too.
Never played the NES game. I came close to beating it but never could get past the boss to the final level.
Find a rom, and check it out. It's a banger.
I do remember the boss being a big issue, it took me a few days.
I may have to do that. :) I need to buy a good handheld that can play that stuff.
I've just got the old classic Raspberry Pi 3b. My 4 year old just about loses his mind playing the old games like Sonic, etc.
