After some users have had issues recently, I've finally gotten around to putting in place a better solution for outbound email from this instance. It now sends out via Amazon SES, rather than directly from our OVH VPS.

The result is emails should actually get to more people now, rather than being blocked by over-enthusiastic spam filters... looking at you Outlook and Gmail.

Okay, i'm sticking my IT dummy hand up again.

What is this post about? I've never had/sent any emails from Aussie Zone.

Is there some sort of notification system i've not noticed or, i don't know what else it could be..??

Notifications for PMs, initial sign up welcome emails and password recovery. Though due to the host we have the server on being widely blacklisted, many never see the emails.

Thats OVH VPN? Why are they blacklisted? Do they host something like a lot of spammers, or just not big enough so unintentionally blacklisted due to size?

OVH Virtual Private Server (VPS). They host LOTS of servers, consequently lots of compromised servers or outright spammers.
