Curl type isn't everything but it'd be really nice to have an idea of yours. Here is a chart
uh, i'd have to guess 3a but in all honesty it could be any of the 3's. not too sure.
Variation in hair textures is normal and dependant in a fuckton of factors. Regardless, we share a curl pattern and what I have found has worked best for me, primarily due to the thickness of my hair and desire for androgeny, is fully shaving the sides and back of my head while letting the top grow to about shoulder length. It gives me the ability to put my hair up in a bun, ponytail, or clip and look more traditionally masculine while reserving the ability to put down my hair and look more traditionally feminine. This won't work if your hair is not thick enough however. It needs to be able to fully obscure the shaved bits when down. I started using this hairstyle because I wanted to grow mine out but it eventually became a huge hastle to wash, got really hot in the sun, and was really triangularly shaped due to hair thicknes.
