This could have all been mitigated with a staged rollout, which they could have paused after the crash was identified. Preventing new users from getting it.
Or by using alternative App Stores.
Or testing properly for all scenarios. After all, There was a deadline of 2+ weeks, so enough time.
Yeah but they don't control the app store, the customer does and most customers will require Google play. And agreed. 2+ weeks is plenty of time to test properly.
