Too many Americans still think "self made" is a thing. Or that people like Wayne worked hard. No, they inherit capital gained from the exploitation or theft of capital from others, and then when they use that capital to accumulate more capital, which is the entire purpose, people are baffled and forget the source of the original capital and go "oh, wow, he did something!"
