'Traditional' here means 'Physical', as in artworks which are NON-DIGITAL in nature.

What's allowed: Acrylic, Pastel, Encaustic, Gouache, Oil and Watercolor Paintings; Ink Illustrations; Manga Panels; Pencil and Charcoal sketches; Collages; Etchings; Lithographs; Wood Prints; Pottery; Ceramics; Metal, Wire and paper sculptures; Tapestry; weaving; Qulting; Wood carvings, Armor Crafting and more.

What's not allowed: Digital art (anything made with Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Krita, Blender, GIMP or other art programs) or AI art (anything made with Stable Diffusion, Midjourney or other models)

its amazing to me that this was ever deamed worth anything its terrible. Nothing a photgraph doesn't do better. If this was from 800 or those times then it would be much mors impressive

Agreed, I can’t see the attraction of this painting.

On looking it up it sold for over £91,000 at Christie’s and I can’t see why.

It’s a view from a window in Boulogne and the French tricolour on the right hand side is the wrong way round, with the red portion on flagpole side instead of the blue?

Just such a trivial mistake to make and sums up the painting for me as sloppy and badly executed.

91,000bruutishpounds for old french(?) stuff is indeed Trash tier of old art

I much expect my own pieces value will inflate exprapfiantly when i expire and am seen as a millsnial artist from the pre 2000s
